Chambersburg Meals on Wheels receives no government assistance in any form. Receipts for client meals cover approximately 60% of costs; the rest of the funding comes from donations which are 501(c)(3) tax deductible.
Most donations are received during our fall fund raising campaign, but we are glad to receive them at any time. We are truly thankful for the generosity of so many in our community.
