Client Services
Chambersburg Meals on Wheels will deliver a hot, nutritious noon-time meal, for a fee, every Monday through Friday, to eligible individuals within our service area.
- Eligibility
- Anyone who has restricted mobility because he or she is handicapped, elderly, or convalescing meets the eligibility requirements. If you are in doubt, ask.
- Service Area
- Our service area covers the borough of Chambersburg and some adjacent neighborhoods, and the major portion of the unincorporated town of Fayetteville. If there is a question about a particular address, call us (at 717-263-7228 between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on weekdays) to find out if we can deliver to that address.
- Cost
- The regular rate is now $3.00 per meal, billed at the beginning of each month for meals delivered the previous month. Clients with limited income may be eligible for a lower rate. We can also accept food stamps.
- Becoming a Client
- Call us at 717-263-7228 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or any time. If no one is available, you can leave a message and you will be called back. Alternatively, you can use the form on our Contact Us page to request an interview or ask questions.
